A similar idea has long been used in the Savage project, but Field Ops-the version of mixing shooter and strategy will be very different in its originality in some respects. Let’s say in the new game we will see the near future, and not fantasy with walking animals and magic.

RTS mode should not fade into the background. It makes it much more convenient to track the enemy’s movements, plus you can immediately see where the fire is coming from. The squad can also be divided into groups “Alpha” and “Bravo” of two or even into four independent combat units. Thus, and this is facilitated by the architecture of the levels, it will be possible to enter the flanks and surround the enemy. The game does not spare the player and each attack threatens to take the life of one of your charges, and having died once, they will no longer appear on the screen in the future.
Such losses due to RPG elements are doubly offensive. Gaining experience for successfully completing tasks and destroying the enemy, fighters will increase their level, and with it the accuracy and lethality of shooting, and other parameters. Over time, under your leadership, seasoned veterans will grow up, no comparison with the wimps they were at the beginning. But a hit to the head will still be fatal for them.
Multiplayer will have increased playability, in which up to 8 players or up to 32 units can compete. In addition to the classic modes, a la „All against all” and „Team against team”, there will also be unique. For example, one of them must involve at least 4 players, two per team. One of the “teammates” will always be in RTS mode, and the second will be in FPS mode. The first will have the opportunity to indicate to his partner goals or safe shelters and paths of advancement. A similar system has successfully proven itself in the already mentioned Savage. As for the game as a whole, those who tried the demo version (not available to the general public) say that the single-player component is much inferior to the multiplayer.
